One of our school buses was involved in minor accident Monday morning as it transported Arp ISD students on route #17 to their respective campuses.
Thankfully, there were no injuries. Everyone inside bus #17 including students, and driver are okay. Arp ISD administration understands that the driver of the other vehicle involved is also okay.
The accident happened on County Road 251 north of Arp when that vehicle hit our bus from behind. Students from all three of our campuses, Arp Elementary, Arp Jr. High, and Arp High School were aboard the bus.
Arp ISD quickly sent another bus to the location of the accident, and transported all occupants to their respective Arp ISD school campuses.
Every student that was aboard the bus made it to school safely and is currently in class.
As always the safety and well being of our students is our top priority.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Arp ISD administration at 903-859-8482.
We apologize for any inconvenience or stress this incident may cause you and thank you very much for your understanding.
