8th grade 🐅 finish the season 9-0 with a 14-0 win at Edgewood Thursday. 7th grade came up just short as they fell 30-28 against the Bulldogs & wraps up its campaign 6-3.

Our Arp Lady Tigers🐅🏐 will play a tiebreaker play-in contest vs. Jefferson Saturday Oct. 28 at 9:00am at Spring Hill High School in Longview. The winner advances to the UIL Class 3A volleyball🏐 playoffs as the No. 4 seed out of District 16-3A.

Arp 47 Quitman 16 FINAL
Arp Tigers secured a playoff spot with the win over Quitman & thanks to Grand Saline’s 62-21 victory over Winona Friday. It marks Arp's 2nd trip to the postseason in the last three seasons.

It's the first trip for Coach Wes Schminkey as a head man although he’s been an assistant for many deep playoff runs at other programs including Chapel Hill’s 2011 state championship.
Tigers senior QB Frank Smith threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for three more scores and 46 yards.
Sophomore receiver Zane Bourque caught seven passes for 210 yards and a touchdown.
Junior wideout Demarcus Wade caught three balls for 121 yards and two scores including a 68 yarder.
Arp improves to 6-3 on the season, 3-2 in district play. Quitman falls to 3-5, and 0-4 respectively.
The Tigers host Edgewood next Friday at 7:30pm for senior night and their regular season finale.
If Arp beats the Bulldogs, they will secure the No. 3 seed out of District 9-3A Division 2.
