Two Arp Lady Tigers received awards Monday for their exemplary efforts in the classroom and on the diamond for the 2021 softball season.
The Texas High School Coaches Association and Texas Army National Guard are proud to recognize 2021 seniors Paige Laird and Jasmine Cavazos.
Cavazos was named to the 2021 Academic All-State Softball second team.
The Lady Tigers outfielder was also named to the Academic All-District 16-3A team in late May.
Laird received honorable mention to the 2021 Academic All-State Softball squad.
Earlier this summer, Laird was named a first team All-District 16-3A pitcher.
